Music, Swords and Magic...

Kobenhavn

As ugly as it may seem, there should also be line crossing the ‘o’. Here I am, in Denmark, the country where coins have holes!

Danish coins

This was the not so secret place where I was headed and I was talking about in my previous blog entry. I am in Copenhagen and I will stay here about 2 month to work in the Danish Hydrolic Institute. I might tell you more about that but, for now, I’ll just give you a few first impressions. The city is beautiful and there are plenty of impressive buildings to watch but the night is coming so freaking early that I barely took a handful of pictures.

 Church in Copenhagen

Last Sunday, I spent some time walking around the center but I was literally caught by darkness (sounds kind of gothic and mysterious actually ^^) and here are a couple shot could take before it was pitch dark (by 4pm -_-). As the average tourist, I looked for the little mermaid and found her… or sort of saw her silhouette in the night. I’ll try to do better next time and I intend to discover the city further this week-end, especially because the weather has been very nice so far. Since I’m on the point of have the darkest winter of my life, I shouldn’t waste daylight!

I’ll keep you posted about what I’m doing here and, by the way, since I am a social person (private joke inside), I decided to be mainstream for once and join Facebook. So, if you have a Face book account, you probably know better than me how this works but here is my page:

I am not going to lie, I tried Myspace, Hi5 and some other stuff like that but, in stead of spreading my time on 20 different website, I prefer to collect everything here. However, I’ll write something on my “Facebook Wall” whenever I update something here. I guess this should make the life of everyone easier and, after all, isn’t that what we all hope for? An easier life? Ok, after this lame philosophical attempt, I wish you all a nice week-end and I remind you that you can also stay informed about the updates on the website and blog by joining my Newsletter. :p
