Thesis received
This is a short message in response to the previous blog entry and to the growing concern about the lack of activity on the blog. My thesis was sent, received, positively evaluated and I successfully defended it last Friday! 
The last month of my journey toward being a doctor was epic at times and the last week was really incredible. I guess the craziest thing was last Tuesday when I had to rent a car and travel 600km to get my books at the last minute. Anyway, at the end of the day, everything went fine and the books look good (to me, at least).
There are so many things to say about Friday that I don’t know where to start but I want to thank everyone who join the ceremony or the party. That was an incredible day and I will soon post a lot of pictures so that everyone can enjoy what happened. I also thank everyone who took part in any of the many gifts I received. And extra thanks to Youval, David, Laurent, Steph and Quentin for their precious help!

Congrats here too - someone had to keep the home fires burning(and feed the cats)… I was looking forward to your great day and am so sorry I had to miss it.
Still, I got to celebrate locally in your honor with friends who were stuck in Brittany. Beggars can’t be choosers, “faire contre mauvaise fortune bon coeur”, it’s one way of sharing.
And I got the family pictures, the videos, the tales and The Book for my birthday - can’t complain, really.

I have to admit that I did not communicate as much/well as I would have liked because many things were finished in a rush (and the date actually changed once) so I am really sorry if, like Marine, you got the news just now.
Anyway, a first batch of picture is coming in an hour or so with two videos.
