Smart music player
Do you like to listen to cool music online? Are you a frustrated user of Deezer because half of the songs are not available anymore? Check this out: http://www.jiwa.fm/

Basically, it’s a webradio with all the classic features such as a search engine by artist or song name, a smart radio that proposes song based on your tastes, the possibility to create playlists, create a player for your blog or website etc… They also claim to have the largest music bank on the internet for such a service. The website is totally free but you have to register (also for free) to access all the features. I uploaded on this page 4 playlists I quickly put together just so you see (this page will be part of a next update of my website by the way). What I did is first chose 10 songs about a few themes and check how many of them would be available with Jiwa. About 80-90 % of the songs I looked for were available. As you can see, I remained pretty mainstream and Jiwa doesn’t know many songs of lesser know metal bands like Vanden Plas or At Vance but I think this result is still pretty good. As a comparison, in Deezer, which I was using so far, most of the ‘big names’ records aren’t available anymore. I assume that’s a copyright issue going on between Deezer and major record companies. Only time will tell if the same happens to Jiwa but, for now, there’s a cool website to visit for all of us!
